Is there a way to break sales down by subregions/zip codes/etc within a Country?
Yes. Follow the steps above to download the transaction data for the title you wish to analyze by subregion or zip code. In the exported (.CSV) file, you will find a data column called 'Postal Code'. This is the zip code where the sale was made. Postal Codes are available for the US and a few other Countries. These Postal Codes can be grouped together to form larger groupings within a country such as Northern/Southern/Eastern/Western Regions. Please note that this feature is only available for iTunes data.
How accurate is the sales information shown?
All sales numbers are compiled and published by the Venue (iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, etc). This information is generally considered reliable, but a number of factors make it necessary to view sales report data as estimates only. Some earnings amounts are based on foreign currency conversions which can fluctuate and vary with the timing of the conversion calculation. Also, customers can change their mind after making a purchase impacting the sales totals. Therefore, it is best to consider sales figures as estimates only.
Why does VEVO/Vudu data appear as a series of spikes?
Amazon and iTunes publish their sales reports daily, which allows us to provide daily updated sales information. Google Play publishes their sales reports weekly, but the weekly reports include sales information by day. When we update the Google Play information we’re able to provide daily sales information. However, VEVO and Vudu publish sales data only once per month. This causes the sales to appear on only one day each month causing a visual spike. Periodically Amazon has delays in reporting their information. When that happens all of the previously unreported information appears on a single day, which also creates the appearance of a sales spike.

Earnings Statements
How do I download the data from my Earnings Statement?
The raw data from your Earnings Statement can be exported and downloaded in (.CSV) format. To export and download your Earnings Statement data: Click the ‘Earnings’ option in the top nav bar, this will open the Earnings and Payouts screen. Select one of the Earnings rows in the list by clicking it. Then click the 'Export' button to begin downloading the selected data in (.CSV) format.
Is there a way to get more details about my Earnings such as Purchase vs. Rental, HD vs. SD, number of returned items, or Film vs. Television vs. Music Video?
Yes. Each of these types of information is available in the exported Earnings data (follow the steps to download the Earnings Statement data above).
Is there a way to break earnings into subregions/zip codes/etc within a Country?
This feature is not currently available for Earnings data, but it is available for Sales data. Follow the steps above in the Sales section of this FAQ to download the transaction data for the title you wish to analyze by subregion or zip code.
Why are the dollar and quantity numbers on my Earnings Statement different from the Sales numbers of the same period?
Sales numbers and Earnings numbers are very different. Sales numbers have the advantage of being recent (up to the previous day) but have the disadvantage of not being final. Users can later change their mind about a purchase which can cause the sales figures to adjust lower as time progresses. Sales numbers also use more generalized foreign currency conversion rates which can reduce accuracy when converting to dollars. In contrast, Earnings numbers are released after a month or more of delay. This allows refunds, chargebacks, etc to be accounted for in the final amount paid. Earnings numbers also have deductions like taxes, adjustments, and revenue shares taken out. Most importantly, the Earnings number reflects the foreign exchange rate used when funds are remitted to us. These factors are what cause Sales and Earnings numbers to be significantly different.
How accurate is the information shown on the Earnings Statements?
Earnings Statements contain the final numbers published by each venue for a given earnings period and are considered to have the highest accuracy possible. On occasion, a Venue will discover small errors on a previously published earnings report and issue an adjustment on the next earnings statement, but this is rare. Generally speaking, Earnings numbers are final and never change once published.

Earnings Payments
When are my Earnings paid to me?
Earnings payments are made around the 15th of each month.
I had sales last month. Why didn’t I get paid for them?
We pay out earnings the month after we receive payment for them from the platform. Each platform works on a different schedule, but generally they pay out between one and three months after the month of sales. Please see the chart below which reflects when sales and earnings data are reported and paid for each platform.

* Although Bitmax may attempt to retrieve data on a periodic bases, the platform does not alway update the source data using the same timing, so all approximate timing quoted is based on the platform's  availablity of data.
